Located in the same building as the non-profit Social Co-operative "Il Battello", the first floor, which can be reached by lift, has air-conditioned rooms. Sarnico è un importante centro commerciale e turistico adagiato sulla sponda destra del Lago d’ Iseo, dove questo co-mincia a restringersi per diventare Fiume Oglio. L’abitato, protetto all’origine dalle colline si protende dolcemente a lago, felicemente esposto e climaticamente mitigato dal rilievo collinare e dalla brezza lacustre. La sua posizione geografica, i suoi dintorni, ricchi di ville, spazi verdi, divertimenti e spettacolari scorci sul lago offrono al turista un ideale punto di riferimento per vacanze. Segnaliamo il centro Storico, noto con il nome di ‘Contrada’. In una cornice variopinta di negozi si possono ancora notare percorrendo: portali, strette viuzze, passaggi sotto arcate, antiche case dalle massicce mura. Spiccano le ville opera dell’architetto Giuseppe Sommaruga, esemplari architettonici considerati tra le maggiori testimonianze di stile liberty in Lombardia.

Sarnico is an important commercial and tourist centre located on the right bank of Lake Iseo where the lake narrows to become the River Oglio. The town, which since its origins has been protected by the backdrop of hills, stretches gently down to the lakeside, has a good exposure and enjoys a mild climate thanks to the hilly landscape and the breeze from the lake. The geographical position, the surroundings, rich in villas and green areas, the entertainment facilities and the spectacular views of the lake, offer tourists an ideal reference point for holidays. Mention should be made of the historical centre of Sarnico, known as the "Contrada". Set against a multi-coloured background of shops, it is still possible to come across characteristic doorways, narrow alleys, passageways under arches and old houses with very thick walls. The villas designed by the architect Giuseppe Sommaruga are outstanding and are considered to be some of the most important architectural examples of the Art Nouveau style in Lombardy.
